Hip replacements and joint inflammation

Posted on June 14th, 2011 No Comments

One of the most common side effects related to hip replacement surgeries and defective hip replacements is joint inflammation.  If you have had a hip replacement surgery, but pain and swelling in your hip returned, you may want to check and see if you have a recalled DePuy ASR hip replacement.

If you have noticed an increase in pain or swelling around your hips, this may be the result of a defective hip replacement and you may want to contact an experienced attorney to help you resolve this issue.

In the meantime, there are several ways to try to treat hip joint inflammation and pain.  For example, decreasing exercise and movement, compression, hot or cold treatments, medication, physical therapy, and stretching.

If you believe you may be suffering side effects related to a defective ASR hip replacement, contact the DePuy defects lawyers of Williams Hart at 800-761-3187 today.
